Quick update

Things have been so nuts that I haven't had much time for anything! We have been resetting the deptartment at work, and my dad is having health issues again.

Anyway, I did crank out this present for one of my BFFs 21st birthday this weekend.

She loves peacocks, so I used the image from the Art Nouveau cricut cartridge. I cut it at 9.25 using my gypsy to line it all up on the mat. I previously prepared a 8x10 canvas I got at hobby lobby by painting it aqua blue and then laying an iridescent cellophane that have been scrunched up on top before the paint dried.

I assembled the peacock and glued the shadow directly to the canvas and then pop dotted the peacock to the shadow.

Recycle Packaging from Graphic 45 Staples!

While I was cleaning up all my art supplies the other day, I found the part of the packaging from the Graphic 45 drawer pulls I had used in one of my recent up cycles. I almost threw it away when the thought occurred to me that I should use it as a tag! So I set it aside until I had some free time to work on it. So this............. Became this...... I just love the way this turned out! I had the Artisan Style paper sitting in my collection for awhile and decided this would be the perfect thing to use it on! For detailed instructions just check out my snapguide: Check out How to Recycle Graphic 45 Packaging With Artisan Style by Altina Robinson on Snapguide . Thanks for stopping by!! -Altina R.
